University of Buraimi Participates in Symposium on Research and Innovation Priorities in Oman Vision 2040
Muscat, Oman – January 14, 2025
The University of Buraimi, represented by its Vice Chancellor, Dr. Said Eid Younis, and Dr. Zoelfigar Dafalla, Assistant Professor at the College of Health Sciences, participated in the symposium titled "Scientific Research and Innovation Priorities in Oman Vision 2040 and the Role of Military and Security Academies and Colleges in Achieving It."
The event was organized by the Sultan Qaboos Naval Academy and took place at Al Shafaq Club in Muscat under the patronage of Major General Hamad bin Ahmed Sakroon, Chairman of the Academy of Strategic and Defense Studies. The symposium was also attended by Major General Saif bin Nasser Al Rahbi, Commander of the Royal Navy of Oman.
This symposium served as a key platform for discussing national research and innovation priorities and exploring the role of academic, military, and security institutions in achieving the goals of Oman Vision 2040. The participation of the University of Buraimi reflects its commitment to academic excellence, research development, and fostering collaboration with national institutions to drive innovation and sustainable growth.
