An awareness lecture titled “Traffic Safety Rules and Speed Compliance”

The Student Affairs Department at the University of Buraimi, in collaboration with the Traffic Department of Al Buraimi Governorate, organized an awareness lecture titled “Traffic Safety Rules and Speed Compliance” as part of GCC Traffic Week 2025, under the theme “Driving Without a Phone.” The lecture, attended by students and staff, aimed to raise awareness about the importance of adhering to traffic laws, especially speed limits, to reduce accidents and minimize harm. Captain Saeed Al-Sanani from the Traffic Department presented statistics on accidents caused by speeding and phone use while driving, stressing that these are major contributors to fatal accidents.
