University of Buraimi Showcases Entrepreneurship Curriculum to Ministry of Education

As part of national efforts to enhance entrepreneurship education, the Ministry of Education visited the College of Business, to explore the university’s curriculum as a model for developing a school-level program for grades 10 to 12.
Ms. Sara Al Balushi, Lecturer in the College of Business presented the university’s entrepreneurship curriculum, which includes modules on business planning, innovation, feasibility analysis, and success stories from Oman and beyond. The curriculum is designed to equip students with practical skills and entrepreneurial thinking aligned with real-world challenges.
The Ministry expressed interest in collaborating with the university to adapt elements of the curriculum for secondary education. The session was attended by Dr. Ibrahim Al-Shamsi (Dean of the College of Business, Dr. Abdullahaq Lachachi Assistant Dean of Business College and Dr. Azan Al-Azani Lecturer in the College of Business who welcomed the Ministry’s initiative and emphasized the importance of early entrepreneurship education.
