UoB Organizes Risk Management Workshop to Strengthen Institutional Preparedness and Risk Culture

The Quality Assurance and Planning Department, in collaboration with the Risk Management Executive Committee, organized a comprehensive Risk Management Workshop aimed at enhancing institutional preparedness and promoting a proactive risk culture across the University.

The workshop was delivered by Dr. Ahmed Al-Abri, Deputy Vice Chancellor for Financial Affairs and Administration. It brought together administrative and academic staff who were introduced to the fundamentals of risk management through engaging discussions and hands-on exercises designed to strengthen their ability to identify, assess, evaluate, and mitigate institutional risks.

This initiative reflects the University of Buraimi’s commitment to institutional excellence, proactive risk governance, and alignment with its Strategic Plan. By empowering staff with the knowledge and tools needed to manage risks effectively, UoB continues to foster a culture of responsibility, resilience, and continuous improvement.
