University of Buraimi Participates in the 10th Saudi Optometry Conference

The Department of Optometry at the University of Buraimi participated in the 10th Saudi Optometry Conference, held in Riyadh under the patronage of the Saudi Ministry of Health and organized by the Saudi Optometric Association.

UoB students showcased the University’s programs and initiatives through an informative booth and visited King Saud University’s Optometry Department to exchange knowledge and explore collaboration opportunities.

Dr. Thulfiqar Dafallah, Head of the Department, presented a research paper titled “Implications of Keratoconus in the Eastern Mediterranean Region.” Students also engaged in scientific sessions, workshops, and an exhibition highlighting the latest optical technologies.
This participation underscores UoB’s commitment to academic excellence, research collaboration, and advancing the field of optometry regionally and internationally.
