Under the Patronage of the Minister of Economy, University of Buraimi Celebrates the Graduation of Its Eighth Cohort

The University of Buraimi held its Eighth Graduation Ceremony on Monday, November 10, under the patronage of H.E. Dr. Said Mohammed Al Saqri, Minister of Economy, in the presence of a number of esteemed guests, senior officials from Al Buraimi Governorate, members of the academic and administrative staff, and the graduates’ families.

The ceremony marked the graduation of 686 students from the university’s four colleges — an occasion that reflects the university’s ongoing efforts in preparing and qualifying national competencies capable of actively contributing to the comprehensive development witnessed by the Sultanate of Oman, in line with Oman Vision 2040.

Mr. Yousef Abdul Rahim Al Farsi, Chairman of the University’s Board of Directors, affirmed that this ceremony represents the culmination of the efforts of students and faculty and administrative members, noting that the university is committed to developing its educational environment and enhancing its research and innovation ecosystem in alignment with the needs of the labor market, while contributing to the preparation of national talents capable of competing locally and regionally.

The ceremony program included a series of visual presentations and celebratory performances that highlighted the academic journey of the graduates throughout their years of study, in addition to honoring outstanding students in an atmosphere filled with pride and joy.
