College of Law at University of Buraimi, in collaboration with Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Organizes Workshop on Omani Commercial Companies Law

The College of Law, in cooperation with the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry – Buraimi Branch, organized a workshop on the Omani Commercial Companies Law promulgated by Royal Decree No. 18/2019 and its executive regulations issued by Ministerial Decision No. 146/2021. 

 

The workshop was attended by interested individuals from the members of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, business owners, managers, lawyers, and legal practitioners. 

 

The training workshop highlighted the Omani Commercial Companies Law issued by Royal Decree No. 18/2019 and Ministerial Decision No. 146/2021 issuing the regulations for commercial companies. It emphasized the key provisions and benefits, in addition to focusing on the changes resulting from the Omani Commercial Companies Law and its regulations. The workshop addressed the importance of keeping pace with the growing global developments for commercial companies in contributing to the economic development of countries. It also aimed to assess the impact of the new legislation on the business community, traders, and owners of commercial companies.
