Student Optometry Club at University of Buraimi Participates in MEACO-MIOC 2023 Conference

The Student Optometry Club at the University of Buraimi participated in the MEACO-MIOC 2023 conference held in Muscat, where approximately 20 speakers from various countries integrated local insights with international expertise. This diverse lineup not only added depth to the discussions but also provided attendees with a precise understanding of developments in the field of ophthalmology

The sessions were carefully organized to cover a wide range of topics, spanning from the latest advancements in ophthalmology to pediatric optometry, various types of contact lenses, keratoconus, low vision, and the manual fitting of prescription lenses into eyeglass frames. Additionally, there were special sessions tailored for optometry students.
