The Buraimi University debate team clinches first place in the qualifiers for the seventh national debate championship.

The University of Buraimi Debate Team secured first place at the level of Buraimi, Musandam, and North Al Batinah in the qualifiers of the seventh National Debate Championship, with the participation of 18 teams and over 72 debaters.

This win secures the University of Buraimi team a spot in the national championship finals held in Muscat. The finals will see the top teams that qualified in 6 stages across the Sultanate competing for the ultimate title.

In addition to winning first place, the University of Buraimi team also had two students win individual awards. Mohammed Mansoor Al Saidi was named the best first speaker, and Al Hanouf Al Badi achieved Joint First Place in the same category.
