In a joyous celebration on its Cup and league wins

The University of Buraimi renewed its sponsorship of the senior team of Al-Nahda Club as an official sponsor during the 2023-2024 season. This came at the wonderful celebration held under the patronage of His Highness Sayyid Fahr bin Fatik Al Said, rejoicing at the team's victory in the historic double, where it won His Majesty the Sultan's Cup, and the Omantel League shield during the football season 2022-2023.

The sponsorship contract was signed by Mr. Yousuf bin Abdul Rahim Bin Karam Al Farsi, chairman of the University's Board of Directors, on behalf of the University of Buraimi and on behalf of Al Nahda Club by Sheikh Ahmed bin Nasser Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the club's Board of Directors.

For his part, Yousuf bin Karam Al Farsi reaffirmed his pride in the great achievement of the club during the football season 2022-2023. He also stressed that the University is constantly striving to be a key player and an active partner in the development and service of the community. To this end, it continues to launch initiatives to fulfill its social responsibilities.

Al-Nahda Club, one of the boasts of Al Buraimi governorate, was established upon the merger of Al Buraimi and Mahdah clubs on November 15, 2003 to launch one of the strongest teams in the Omani sports arena. It has since accomplished many achievements, won many awards and positions becoming a prominent name among senior teams in the Sultanate of Oman.
