University of Buraimi Launches 4th Academic Week The University of Buraimi inaugurated its 4th Academic Week, under the patronage of Eng. Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Mayasi, Director General of Sohar Industrial Zone, reaffirming its role in community engagement and academic excellence. During the opening, University Vice Chancholler Dr. Said Eid Younes highlighted key achievements for the 2024/2025 academic year, including the publication of over 120 research papers and the execution of 25 funded research projects worth over OMR 153,000. The university also launched new academic programs aligned with Oman Vision 2040, including PhDs in Management and Private Law, a Master’s in Critical Care Nursing, and a Bachelor’s in Emergency Medical Services. The event features exhibitions of academic and student achievements, along with specialized lectures and workshops in areas such as sustainability, law, business, engineering, and health.
