Under the auspices of her highness Dr. Mona Al Said

As part of its efforts to serve the community, University of Buraimi hosted an event organized by the Children First Association; (They are all our children) initiative held under the auspices of H.H. Dr. Mona bint Fahad Al said, in the presence of H.E. Dr. Hamad bin Ahmed Al Busaidi, governor of Al Buraimi, and Dr. Said Eid Younes, Vice Chancellor of the University.

The event is part of the Association’s efforts to raise awareness among children and young school students, and included a number of interesting awareness activities. It also included a speech delivered by Her Highness in which she addressed the important role the Association plays and thanked all those who contributed to the success of the event. Following that, Ms. Nabila Al Harthi introduced the Children First Association and its goals and projects to serve children in the Sultanate of Oman. At the end of the event, the initiative sponsors and participants were honored.

During the event, several awareness-raising activities where conducted. In the ‘Values’ activity, Dr. Amal Al Harmali gave a presentation entitled (Survival in the Battle of Values), which was well received by the audience. There was also the ‘Citizenship’ segment where Dr. Suleiman Al Kiyumi delivered a presentation entitled (Tales from History), followed by the environmental awareness segment, where a team from Be’ah company gave a presentation on Environmental Wheel and Recycling. In the innovation activity, Mr. Nabil Al Habsi spoke about Intellectual Property. The event concluded with the technological awareness activity, in which Mr. Saeed Al Maktoumi talked about social media.
