UoB and OAAAQA Collaborate on Workshop to Align Academic Qualifications with National Framework
The University of Buraimi Institute, in collaboration with the Directorate General of the National Qualifications Framework at OAAAQA, organized a capacity- and competency-building workshop on the process of integrating academic qualifications into the Oman Qualifications Framework OQF.
The workshop was targeted academic leaders at the University of Buraimi, related faculty members in relevant colleges, and the Quality and Accreditation Department. The two-day workshop, which included numerous interactive activities and practical examples, addressed the methods and policies for including academic qualifications in the OQF, as well as its standards and levels, which contributed to enriching the skills and knowledge of the participants. It was led by Ms. Fakhriya Ali Al Habsi, Director General of Directorate General of the National Qualifications Framework at the OAAAQA, and Mr. Muatasim Humood Al Amri, Director of the Qualifications Listing and Alignment Support Department at the Authority.
