University of Buraimi Ranked in the QS Arab Region University Rankings 2026

The University of Buraimi has achieved a new academic milestone by being ranked in the QS Arab Region University Rankings 2026, one of the most prestigious global ranking systems that evaluates higher education institutions based on quality standards in teaching, research, employability, international outlook, and community engagement.

This achievement marks an important step that reaffirms the University of Buraimi’s growing prominence within the higher education landscape at both the national and regional levels. It also reflects the university’s continuous efforts to enhance the quality of its academic outcomes, support scientific research, and build strategic partnerships that contribute to realizing its vision of excellence and regional leadership.

The University’s Vice Chancellor, Dr. Said Eid Younis, expressed his pride in the university’s inclusion in this distinguished ranking, praising the dedication of the academic and administrative staff as well as the students. He emphasized that this international recognition serves as a strong motivation to continue advancing and achieving further accomplishments in alignment with Oman Vision 2040.

The university was ranked within the 181–190 category in the QS Arab Region Rankings, alongside several prestigious Omani and Arab universities, reflecting the University of Buraimi’s steady improvement in academic and research performance in recent years.
