University of Buraimi Signs Agreement for Construction of Female Student Hostel

In line with the commitment of the University of Buraimi to create an enriching and supportive academic environment for students to serve the educational process, an agreement has been officially signed for the construction of the university's second residential building. This significant project has a total estimated cost of over three million Omani riyals. 

The Hostel will offer accommodation for approximately 1300 students in single rooms, complete with essential residential services. These include supervisors' offices, dining areas, and central laundry facilities, all centered around a recreational oasis. Notably, this hostel has been designed with smart, environmentally-friendly features that contribute to a carbon-neutral footprint. It is expected that the project will be completed by July 2025. 

Simultaneously, the university is in the process of finalizing designs for the Integrated Sports Complex project. This state-of-the-art facility boasts a multi-purpose hall that can accommodate over two thousand students, an Olympic-sized swimming pool, versatile gyms for various sports and fitness activities, and recreational gaming areas. The completion of this project is also expected to coincide with the delivery of the hostel project in July 2025.
