University of Buraimi Initiative to Support Job Seekers

In recognition of the importance of contributing to support the local community and equipping the workforce with qualified skills, and in an effort to enhance cooperation between local educational institutions and government entities, the University of Buraimi has launched the Training Initiative (University of Buraimi Initiative to Support Job Seekers) in collaboration with the Office of the Governor of Al Buraimi Governorate.

 

The initiative, which was presented through the University of Buraimi's Institute, aimed to refine and support job seekers with a range of essential skills that prepare them for different work environments and provide them with the tools to engage in the job market.

 

The initiative included six practical training programs that covered the secrets of personal interviews and the art of constructing and writing resumes. It also emphasized the importance of time management and setting priorities, both personally and in the workplace. Participants were introduced to the significance and role of communication skills, daily, monthly, or yearly planning skills, without neglecting the importance of supporting job seekers in establishing their own businesses and ventures. The initiative also reviewed entrepreneurial skills and educated trainees on how to deal with clients and customers.
