University of Buraimi’s College of Engineering Participates in Ithra's Tanween Conference in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
The selection of the graduation project from the Architecture program, "Design of a Sustainable Residential Complex in Duqm," from the University of Buraimi as the sole representative from Omani universities to participate in the Graduates Exhibition at the Tanween 2023 event in Ithra (King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture, Saudi Aramco). The project was designed by student Faiza Al-Marboui, and supervised by Engineer Sawsan Mohammed from the Architectural Engineering program.
The Tanween event is one of the largest and most important annual creative events in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The event aims to celebrate the creative process, explore it, and inspire it.
This year's event was titled "Scale." The event lasted for a full four days, featuring various activities, exhibitions, and challenges. The largest of these was the Graduation Projects Exhibition specializing in architectural, interior, graphic, product design, jewelry, and game design. The exhibition showcased around 30 projects selected from more than 52 projects from universities across the Arab world.
