The program is designed to provide comprehensive and well-balanced training to undergraduates in the field of Human Resources Management. The program is multidisciplinary by design and provides a fundamentally sound grounding in technical as well as business skills, coupled with associated skills in areas of managerial skills, skills for life, and societal values. The program is nestled within the College of Business. The program is designed to meet increasing needs by technologically-oriented firms that wish to attract employees with a blended background in business knowledge base and Human Resources Management. The program has 131 CH and includes the latest trends, technologies and tools incorporated in the curriculum which is needed by the students to succeed in their career.
A “General Education Diploma” (GED) with the following conditions: A General Education Diploma (12th standard) or certified equivalent with a minimum D grade in (pure or applied Mathematics) and English language.
A minimum of 500 in TOEFL, (or IELTS - 5 overall (academic); or TOEFL IBT-61)[1] or must take the English Placement Test (PT) at UOB.
Must take the Math and IT Placement Test (PT) at UOB and shall be placed at foundation/credit courses as per the PT result.
Students enrolled in the GFP will have to complete it in no more than two academic years.
Students shall pass the College Admission Test and/or the College Interview as required.

Demonstrate an understanding of approaches, methods and techniques used in Human Resource Management.

Use appropriate tools, technologies, and methods of Human Resource Management to meet organization’s needs.
Characterize and classify factors that define selection of the appropriate Human Resource Management instruments.
Evaluate the role of applied Human Resource Management instruments in advancing the strategic goals and the operational success of an organization.
Work effectively in a team and collaborate with others to accomplish a common goal
Communicate effectively to a range of audience through oral, written and visual presentation
The Human Resources in Management provides students with high employ ability potentials in areas such as Business, Graduates from the Program can expect to find jobs within the private and public entities.
